About Me

I am a writer, editor, historian, traveller, and arts enthusiast. Above all, I am a humanist who wishes to create and promote more beauty in the world and help others attain the same goal, in whatever printed medium they require.

I attended Trinity College as an undergraduate at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2012 as a Specialist in History.  In 2014 I successfully attained a Master of Arts in Modern History.

In the past, I have worked for Magazines Canada, The National Magazine Awards, The Digital Publishing Awards, and The Canadian Business Media Awards. I am a former staff writer for the now defunct magazine Caledon Living, a former reporter for the London Publishing Corporation, Mackasey Howard Communications, In The Hills Magazine, and have contributed to various literary journals at the University of Toronto.

In 2013, I received the Student Engagement in the Arts Award from the University of Toronto for my work as Editor-in-Chief (2012) of The Hart House Review.  I was subsequently the Senior Fiction Editor for the 2013 edition.

I am currently a freelance writer for Great Living Spaces and Lifestyles Magazine, the Nunavut News Multimedia Journalist based out of the Iqaluit bureau (under the Local Journalism Initiative dedicated to Indigenous content), and am working on my first novel.
