THe hart house review (2012 edition)

The Hart House Review is an annual Canadian literary magazine published by Hart House, a student life centre at the University of Toronto, and printed at Coach House Press.[1][2]

The annual, student-produced journal ensures at least 70% of its content comes from University of Toronto contributors.

In 2012, HHR became open to the Canadian public after becoming a member of Magazines Canada and being distributed nationally as a result of my efforts.

The magazine was established in 1991.[3] It publishes the winners of the annual Hart House Contests in Poetry and Fiction,[4] as well as the winner of the annual E. J. Pratt Prize in Poetry.

For the 2012 edition, I oversaw all aspects of the magazine, including submissions, management of the editorial staff, distribution, editing, budget administration, and event planning. I also innovated our promotional outreach for our first year of national distribution. For all these efforts I was awarded the University of Toronto Student Engagement in the Arts Award.
